Singer-Songwriter Tim Gang has been publicly performing for over 40 years.
While gaining a following as the front- man of several bands, his heart remains in his solo acoustic work.`
As an entertainer, Tim prides himself in his ability to interact with his audience and satisfy their musical requests.
While Tim plays a classic rock-folk type format, he enjoys playing material that "everybody else doesn't do", which leads to a somewhat nostalgic performance.
As he attended Central Catholic High School, Tim formed his first band: " Dark Horse", teaming himself up with other Central alumni.
"Dark Horse" played a variety of rock music ,which gave him his first opportunity to write and play original music.
The band went on for close to three years, during which time he began playing acoustic music on the side.
This continued through brief stints with the bands " Timothy" , "Saber", "Omen", "Legend" and "Gemini".
Throughout the next few years, he played many functions, benefits and clubs, and opened for two bands of which he eventually became a member ; "Cold Brew" and "Dead Ringer".
After leaving "Dead Ringer", Tim decided to remain a solo acoustic performer , and has since turned down offers to join other bands.
He continues to be a favorite guest performer at many different venues.
Tim and his son T.J. , a remarkable musician in his own right, have joined forces and are now performing together calling themselves simply "Father and Son".
T.J. is producing, engineering and performing on the upcoming album.
